RED RAIDERS ROCK 2024 GRAD CEREMONY ON MASTERSHIELD TRAX™

Thiells, NY - North Rockland High’s new synthetic field receives extra heavy duty turf protection.

Located in Thiells, New York, North Rockland High School provides co-educational studies to students in grade 9 to 12 from the northern Rockland County. In 2024, the school celebrated the opening of new, state-of-the-art, athletic facilities for their Red Raiders sports teams including advanced synthetic turf fields. When it was decided to have graduation ceremonies on the main field, COVERMASTER® was contacted for temporary outdoor flooring.

With over 50 years of experience in temporary roadways and event flooring solutions, COVERMASTER® recommended MASTERSHIELD TRAX™ to protect the synthetic field from the weight and potential damage of event staging and equipment. Designed to withstand the high loads of forklifts, large trucks, and cranes, it can easily handle everything from staging to chairs, sound systems, and when required, heavy pedestrian traffic.

North Rockland ordered 300 panels of MASTERSHIELD TRAX™. This extra heavy duty, turf protection system is lightweight and easy to overlap and interlock by hand. As each panel is interlocked with other panels, a smooth, hazard free surface is created that provides maximum stability and strength. To ensure accessibility for all students, North Rockland also ordered edge ramps for access, which connect to the modular flooring and helped make their graduation ceremonies a rocking success!
