North Eugene High School Stadium Chooses the Ultimate Baseball Tarp
Eugene, OR - RAINCOVER ULTRA™ from COVERMASTER® is the industry’s strongest internal core infield tarp.
The 1,000-seat Swede Johnson Stadium is not only the home of the North Eugene High School Highlander baseball team, but it also hosts the Eugene Challengers summer baseball teams. In May of last year, COVERMASTER® was contacted by the high school to determine the ideal baseball field cover for the stadium’s infield with an eye to which size to use, durability, weight and handling, and performance benefits.
COVERMASTER® provided North Eugene High School with several baseball field tarp options based on their criteria. Upon consultation with team coaches, a 170’ by 170’ RAINCOVER ULTRA™, the industry’s strongest internal core field cover, was chosen. It’s over 200 pounds lighter than other baseball tarps and easier to handle with Sur-Grip handles every 10 feet – particularly when removing hundreds of pounds of water from the field tarp’s surface.
North Eugene High School also ordered MASTERSTAKE™ TARP Pins to ensure their new RAINCOVER ULTRA™ infield tarp was kept tight and remained in place throughout inclement weather.Purchased as a box of 25, MASTERSTAKE™ TARP Pins are heavy-duty, long-lasting, and yellow coated for high visibility. Once ordered, COVERMASTER® provided quick turnaround and had the new baseball field tarp at the school by the end of June and in time for summer baseball.
