Founded in 1897 by a group of Massimo d'Azeglio Lyceum students in Turin, Italy, the Juventus Football Club went on to win 36 league titles, 15 Coppa Italia trophies, nine Super Cups, and many European championships. When facing up, the silver side reduces heat build-up under the pitch cover. The black side is used facing up to draw heat into the playing turf during colder conditions.
