DEEP SOUTH ICE KEEPS RINK SURFACE COLD AND COVERED WITH TERRACOVER ICE®

Richmond, TX - Premium COVERMASTER® ice rink flooring provides multi-use event protection.

Richmond, Texas is a suburb of Houston and now home to the 150 thousand square foot Deep South Ice & Sports Complex. It features a 1,500-seat NHL-size arena that is home for the Houston Bulls of the North American Hockey League as well as a second NHL-size practice ice sheet/community ice rink, 14 luxury suites and two party decks. The complex also includes a volleyball center with two volleyball courts.

To accommodate multi-function events on the ice surface, Deep South came to COVERMASTER® for an ice arena flooring that would protect the ice surface while providing a dry, solid surface for the staging of concerts, trade shows, and exhibitions. TERRACOVER ICE® was selected for its industry leading R-Value and best insulation of any ice rink cover panels available in the marketplace today.

TERRACOVER ICE® features unique and patented interlocking ice rink cover panels with zero gaps once connected. It does not require specialized equipment to install and remove, is light and easy-to-handle, and will withstand the weight of fully-loaded forklift trucks. Even better, TERRACOVER ICE® ice rink cover panels can be installed in about an hour and are often quicker to remove. To ensure proper installation, COVERMASTER® representatives came to the Deep South Ice & Sports Complex to train the arena crew during the first installment and fitting of the ice rink cover panels.
