Chicago, IL - COVERMASTER® creates custom-cut football field tarps specifically for Soldier Field.

Rain and snow are common at Solider Field in Chicago especially in the fall and winter months. As the home of the National Football League (NFL) Chicago Bears and the Chicago Fire FC of Major League Soccer (MLS), football field covers are critical to keep the playing field in the best possible condition at game time. The weather is tracked constantly to determine how far in advance those football field rain tarps should be put in place.

Rather than order the more common rectangular configurated football field covers, COVERMASTER® was contacted to provide a custom version of RAINCOVER ULTRA™, the industry’s strongest core raincover. To avoid covering areas that did not require rain and snow protection, COVERMASTER® created a football field cover system that was wide in the middle sections of the playing field and then tapered to each end.

Four sections of white/silver RAINCOVER ULTRA™ were custom-cut to the unique requirements of Soldier Field and included velcro closures to securely connect each section. Designed to create less friction and be over 200 pounds lighter than other raincovers, this custom RAINCOVER ULTRA™ field cover is the strongest football field cover in the industry.
