Grand Prairie, TX - Cricket is rapidly becoming popular across the country and is currently in the early stages of establishing what is known as USA Major League Cricket. It’s composed of six teams: Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings and Washington Freedom. The first match of the new USA MLC was played this past July in Grand Prairie Stadium located in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Another 18 games between all the teams followed and then, capped off with its first ever championship final at the end of that month.
