COVERMASTER® Steps Up to the Plate to Deliver Tigers’ New Baseball Diamond Tarp

When the Detroit Tigers baseball team was heading for postseason play in 2025, management realized that MLB (Major League Baseball) would not allow them to use their regular season baseball diamond tarp because it featured a sponsorship logo. They immediately turned to their longtime baseball tarp supplier, COVERMASTER®, for a RAINCOVER ULTRA™. Now, postseason is one of the busiest times for baseball field cover replacement by all levels of baseball throughout the country. Once ordered, baseball field covers could take anywhere from four to six weeks to deliver. Usually, that’s not a concern for purchasers but in this case, the Tigers needed it right away. This non-branded field tarp was silver/white to minimize heat build-up and had the Tigers special grommets every 10 feet around the edges.
