BARSTOOL SPORTS COVERS THE ODDS OF DAMAGE TO ITS GYM FLOOR

When the new Chicago office of Barstool Sports contacted COVERMASTER® about gym floor tiles, you would likely wonder what gymnasium in the Windy City they were talking about. As a U.S.-based multimedia sports and entertainment company with its headquarters in New York City, Barstool Sports publishes sports journalism and pop culture-related content. Promoted as a “fun factory”, the gymnasium in question is part of the new Chicago office design.

Opened this past fall, the Barstool Sports office in Chicago is a multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art facility that features a fully-equipped commercial kitchen, several podcast studios, three broadcast studios, a golf simulator, and yes, a basketball court. With plans to have non-athletic events and activities on the basketball gym floor, Barstool Sports turned to COVERMASTER® for the best way to provide gym floor protection.

To protect its 42’ by 74' basketball gym floor, Barstool Sports ordered 420 COVERMASTER® PLATINUM COVERTILE™ carpet tiles and six COVERMASTER® PLATINUM COVERTILE™ Carts.
