Stanford, CA - Stanford University in California has been a long-time customer of COVERMASTER®, so when they wanted to get more out of their soccer pitch, they came to COVERMASTER® for a solution. Certainly, they could continue to play on the field in late fall and early winter, but the risk of turf damage was a major concern. With that in mind, they chose EVERGREEN® Original Turf Covers for proven turf protection.

However, rather than going side-to-side with the usual four sections of EVERGREEN® Original Turf Covers, they decided to switch to installing and removing their turf covers – goal post to goal post! This is relatively something new that is being used to reduce the number of sections of EVERGREEN® Original Turf Covers to three larger ones.

By going with three, 375 foot sections of turf blankets and three TARPMATE AIR™ rollers, their grounds crew can install and remove their turf blankets quicker and with less effort. All in all, it was a great move that resulted in using their soccer pitch into late November!
