West Allis, WI - The nearly 200-acre Wisconsin State Fair Park is not only the site of the Wisconsin State Fair for 11 fun-filled days in August every year, it is also the home for a wide variety of events, activities, and meetings year-round.

Located in West Allis, Wisconsin, a suburb west of Milwaukee, it’s also home to the Milwaukee Mile, a one-mile-long oval racetrack. In fact, it’s the oldest operating motor speedway in the world, hosting auto races every year since 1903.

Depending on the level and interest of each racing event, the grandstand and bleacher seating for nearly 35,000 spectators is not always fully used. To avoid using sections of bleachers that were not needed, the operators of The Milwaukee Mile covered those sections so those in attendance could not use them. This not only makes the event look fuller, but it also eliminated the cost and labor of cleaning those bleacher sections. When it was time to get new bleacher seat covers, they chose COVERMASTER®.

The Milwaukee Mile ordered about 3,400 square feet of COVERMASTER® vinyl mesh seat covers with graphics – enough to cover two sections of bleachers. These were custom-made for these sections and were imprinted with custom background colors along with the Milwaukee Mile Logo and the Milwaukee State Fair logo.
