RAINCOVER MAX™ WILL TACKLE SNOWY WEATHER FOR BUCKEYES FOOTBALL

Columbus, OH - A longer College Football season is covered by the ultimate in athletic field covers.

Changes to College Football Playoffs moves the college football season further into the winter season than ever before. It starts off with a new 12-team format that sees the top four seeded teams receive first round byes. The remaining eight teams will play each other in the first round. In the quarter final rounds, winners of the first round are matched up against the top 4 seeded teams. New Year's six bowl games will be introduced in the quarterfinal round.

The Ohio State University Buckeyes football program was concerned about weather conditions in with season’s longer schedule. By pushing further into January, the likelihood of snow in Ohio is significantly increased. With that in mind, The Ohio State University asked COVERMASTER® for something more than a field cover that would protect the playing field when not in use.

COVERMASTER® recommended RAINCOVER MAX™ field cover which is made from material that is 50 percent lighter and 150% stronger than vinyl raincovers. It’s ideal for handling rain and snow. In fact, snow plows can be used on top of RAINCOVER MAX™ to remove the snow and push it well away from the field. The Ohio State University ordered two, 180-foot by 180-foot sections of RAINCOVER MAX™ from COVERMASTER® - enough to tackle a snowy football field.
