Notre Dame, IN - Just outside South Bend, Indiana, you’ll find the University of Notre Dame – a private Catholic research university well-known for its football, basketball, and yes, soccer teams. For over 30 years, COVERMASTER® has been working closely with the groundskeepers of Notre Dame’s athletic department to provide protective coverage of both interior and exterior athletic surfaces.

This year, Notre Dame wanted to ensure pitch protection of their soccer fields in the winter and rapid recovery in the spring. They wanted to get their soccer teams out on the fields earlier for a head start on the season. In addition to battling the harsh effects of winter, the six- sections of EVERGREEN® Premium turf blankets, on each pitch, would also encourage earlier green ups and faster soccer pitch openings by up to three weeks. For quick turf blanket installation and removal, Notre Dame also purchased 12 custom-made, 70- foot TARPMATE AIR® Rollers.
