Vancouver, British Columbia - COVERMASTER® has been providing world class sports field protection for the Vancouver Canadians baseball team for many, many years. As a minor league, High-A affiliate to MLB’s Toronto Blue Jays, the Canadians must maintain high standards in all aspects of their facility and development program. So when it was time to replace their baseball wall padding at Nat Bailey Stadium, COVERMASTER® got the call.

Every stadium is different, and Nat Bailey Stadium is no exception. As a result, every section of the stadium that required wall padding had to be individually measured and then custom made-to-measure. Three-inch foam on a wood backing panel wrapped in 18 ounce, coated vinyl was used in a wide variety of areas including the outfield, backstop, and dugouts. Several different installs were also required from standard walls, to chain link fence. Top rail padding on the bullpens and around posts were also created and installed.

From start to finish, this custom, made-to-measure, wall padding project was designed, produced and installed in record time. It had to be, as the parent club Blue Jays was next up with their own wall padding needs, as a result of their major renovation project at Rogers Centre in Toronto. But that’s a COVERMASTER® success story for another time!
