Commerce City, CO - Back when Dicks Sporting Goods Park (DSGP) in Commerce City, Colorado opened in 2007, EVERGREEN® RADIANT turf covers were ordered from COVERMASTER® to protect the turf from adverse weather conditions. A mile above sea level, the DSGP is home to the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club which is owned by Kroenke Sports & Entertainment. KSE also owns the Los Angeles Rams and has ownership interest in such sports teams as the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, and the Colorado Mammoth.

When an upgraded practice facility for the Colorado Soccer Club and renovations at Dicks Sporting Goods Park stadium were underway, COVERMASTER® was contacted to provide more turf covers for the facility. Pleased with the performance of their current EVERGREEN® RADIANT turf covers, the groundskeeper didn’t’ hesitate to order them again. These turf blankets would not only protect the turf - they would extend the growing season and encourage earlier greenup in the spring.

EVERGREEN® RADIANT turf covers were also ordered for the Rapids practice facility as well as for perimeter fields regularly used for community soccer, lacrosse and rugby. This additional move was done to provide the best turf possible on all fields at DSGP They also ordered several TARPMATE AIR™ ROLLERS for quick and easy installation and removal of their turf blankets. DSGP is not only a mile above sea level, it’s gone that extra mile with COVERMASTER® industry-leading turf protection.
