DUNWOODY HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL GETS PRO FIELD PROTECTION

Dunwoody, GA - More and more high schools in the U.S. are protecting their baseball infields from rain and other forms of inclement weather. Located in a northern suburb of Atlanta, the Dekalb County School District wanted to do just that at Dunwoody High School. The athletic department at Dunwoody provides students with programs that not only develop skills and team building, but also teach sportsmanship and critical thinking.

Pleased with the gym floor protection purchased from COVERMASTER®, Dekalb County School District came directly to COVERMASTER® for an infield cover at Dunwoody High School. They wanted one that was lighter in weight, had proven performance, and was easy to install and remove. It needed to provide the necessary protection from rain which in turn, would reduce if not eliminate the need for additional maintenance to keep the infield in top playing shape.

COVERMASTER® recommended a 175 by 175-foot RAINCOVER PREMIER™ which is 260 pounds lighter on a full-size field cover section than alternative field covers in the industry. Lighter and easier to handle, RAINCOVER PREMIER™ features SUR-GRIP™ Web Handles that are vinyl reinforced with center grommets that are located every 15 feet. This spreads the water load on top of this super strong raincover and makes it easier to remove after a rainfall. Dekalb County School District also ordered a 40-foot-long TARPMATE™ roller to install, remove, and store their RAINCOVER PREMIER™ baseball field protection just like the pros.
