Fort Worth, TX - Two is often better than one, and that was the case in Fort Worth, Texas when it came time to order baseball field tarps for Trinity Valley School.
A member of the school’s booster club contacted Covermaster, looking for infield tarps for the baseball program. The order was ready to go ahead when the softball program caught wind, and decided they would like their own set of the protective field covers.
A package for the two athletics programs was put together, containing Raincover Plus baseball and softball field covers, TarpMate Tarp Rollers, storage covers, and sand bags. But before the sale could be finalized, there was a special request: the customer wanted to see a sample of the handles that would be attached to the tarps. After inspecting the Sur-Grip web handles — considered the strongest in the industry — the order was placed the next day.
The handles on baseball and softball infield tarps are crucial to their performance. Raincover Plus is already known for its heat-reflective properties, crack and abrasion resistance, and seam strength. But not everyone knows that the handles are the same quality used by major league teams, allowing the field tarp to be shifted or turned without fear of tearing the handle away.
