Renton, WA - Seattle Sounders Football Club is celebrating the grand opening of a state-of-the-art facility in Renton, Washington - 11 miles southeast of downtown Seattle. The Sounders FC Center at the former and renowned Longacres horseracing track will house all soccer operations. It includes a 41,300 square foot office renovation, 10 acres of land activation, and four training fields – two artificial turf and two grass.
Williamsburg, KY - The O. Wayne Rollins Athletic Center, home to Patriots basketball and volleyball, is located on the University of the Cumberland's campus in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Inside the center, you’ll find the Rollins gymnasium with 1,670 fixed seats and additional seating space for 1,200 on the floor and in the top concourse. In addition to athletics, the gymnasium also plays host to everything from concerts to convocation. With some events are larger than others, it was important to be able to concentrate people in specific seating sections.

New Britain, CU -When Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) in New Britain, Connecticut purchased gym floor protection from COVERMASTER® for its gymnasium, no one ever imagined that it would get the job done for over 30 years! While Blue Devils basketball and volleyball are the main athletic use of the gymnasium in Kaiser Hall, many non-athletic events are also held there. Bill Squires served 12 years on active duty in the United States Navy and 12 years in the Naval Reserves, retiring as a Commander. In 1987, he entered the sports facilities and event management business and has held top-level positions with Yankee Stadium, Giants Stadium, Cleveland Browns Stadium, and ESPN Wide World of Sports. Bill has a consulting business featuring clients like the New York Football Giants. He is a member of the Sports League Sub Council, which works with the Department of Homeland Security on security issues involving the safety and security of sports and entertainment venues. Bill is an adjunct professor at Columbia University and has taught the Sports Facilities and Events Management course in the Master of Science in Sports Management since 2007.

San Diego, CA - When the San Diego Chargers moved to Los Angeles in 2017, San Diego Stadium was demolished. A new stadium was conceived and constructed on the campus of San Diego University. Wichita, KS - Wichita State University (WSU) in Wichita, Kansas, is a member of the NCAA Division I and primarily competes in the American Athletic Conference (AAC). Their athletic teams are called the Shockers, a name that came about in the early 1900s when students would earn money by “shocking” or harvesting the wheat in nearby fields. Today, it features a club house, a golf course, tennis and pickleball facilities, swimming pool, a pro shop, dining and banquet facilities, and a fitness center. From corporate dinners to wedding receptions, the club also hosts a wide variety of events. In fact, their dining room accommodates up to 100 guests, depending on the occasion. Ottawa, Ontario - COVERMASTER® was approached by the Center Jules-Léger Consortium, in Ottawa, to help cordon off sections of their auditorium seating in a tasteful yet effective way. Audience numbers for their presentations varied from one event to another so it was important that the method of controlling their auditorium seating could be added and subtracted accordingly. It would also maximize the fullness of an audience while minimizing cleaning and maintenance after an event.
