San Diego, CA - When the San Diego Chargers moved to Los Angeles in 2017, San Diego Stadium was demolished. A new stadium was conceived and constructed on the campus of San Diego University. Opened in August 2022, the new, 35-thousand-seat Snapdragon Stadium became the home of the San Diego State University Aztecs football team as well as the home stadium for the San Diego Wave of the NWSL, and the San Diego Legion of Major League Rugby. In 2025, it will also become home to San Diego FC, the newest expansion team in Major Leage Soccer.
Wichita, KS - Wichita State University (WSU) in Wichita, Kansas, is a member of the NCAA Division I and primarily competes in the American Athletic Conference (AAC). Their athletic teams are called the Shockers, a name that came about in the early 1900s when students would earn money by “shocking” or harvesting the wheat in nearby fields. One of their teams, the WSU Women’s Softball team is the reigning American Athletic Conference Champions.
Jonesboro, AR - Jonesboro Country Club in Jonesboro, Arkansas was established in 1919. Today, it features a club house, a golf course, tennis and pickleball facilities, swimming pool, a pro shop, dining and banquet facilities, and a fitness center. From corporate dinners to wedding receptions, the club also hosts a wide variety of events. In fact, their dining room accommodates up to 100 guests, depending on the occasion. When they contacted COVERMASTER® for a gym floor cover, it was a bit unusual, because the Jonesboro Country Club doesn’t have a gymnasium!
Ottawa, Ontario - COVERMASTER® was approached by the Center Jules-Léger Consortium, in Ottawa, to help cordon off sections of their auditorium seating in a tasteful yet effective way. Audience numbers for their presentations varied from one event to another so it was important that the method of controlling their auditorium seating could be added and subtracted accordingly. It would also maximize the fullness of an audience while minimizing cleaning and maintenance after an event.

Over the past decade, the Jays Care Foundation has invested upwards of $15 million to 163 safe spaces across Canada’s 10 provinces and three territories. Founded in 1992, the foundation promotes baseball as a way to teach children the value of teamwork, leadership, and resiliency.
Providence, RI - The Amica Mutual Pavilion is a 14thousand-seat, multi-use arena, in Providence, Rhode Island. Home to the Providence Bruins hockey team (American Hockey League) and the Providence Friar’s basketball team (Big East Conference), regular changeovers from ice surface to basketball court is always a challenge from both the timing between each sporting event and the demands of each installation. This is further complicated by the many multi-use, non-athletic events hosted throughout the year, from major touring concerts to monster truck rallies and pro wrestling.
Grand Prairie, TX - Cricket is rapidly becoming popular across the country and is currently in the early stages of establishing what is known as USA Major League Cricket. It’s composed of six teams: Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings and Washington Freedom. COVERMASTER® has not only provided cricket pitch covers for the Seattle Orcas in the USA Major League Cricket but it also has international experience with many of the West Indies Cricket Clubs, the International Cricket Council (ICC) facility in Dubai, and cricket clubs throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Noblesville, IN - Located in the northern Indianapolis suburb of Noblesville, Indiana, St. Theodore Guerin High School is a private Roman Catholic college-preparatory school with a highly accomplished athletics program. The purple and gold athletic teams compete in 24 varsity sports ranging from football to baseball, soccer, track, golf, and more. In 2020, Guerin contacted COVERMASTER® about turf blankets for their football field. London, United Kingdom - The 2023 Major League Baseball WorldTour London Series is part of an exciting, ongoing plan to bring the MLB to its many fans throughout the world. This year, it meant taking London Stadium (built for the 2012 Summer Olympics and now home of West Ham United Football Club of England’s Premier League) and turning it into a regulation, MLB baseball stadium, to continue the rivalry between the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals. This is not easy when you have a limited window to create a pop-up facility inside a stadium not made for baseball.
Troy, OH - From the Antioch Shrine Circus to Alice Cooper and the American Girl Live pop-up concert, Hobart Arena in Troy, Ohio hosts a wide variety of sporting events, trade shows, conferences, and concerts from one year to the next. It’s also the home of Troy Trojans Varsity Hockey, Troy Bruins Youth Hockey, and the Troy Skating Club. As with any multi-purpose facility, changeovers from ice to non-ice activities always presents a challenge.
Quinter, KS - With a population of less than 1,000, Quinter, Kansas is a small town just off Interstate 70 and about 4.5 hours west of Kansas City. When the lone junior/senior high school installed a new gymnasium floor, there was concern about non-athletic events. Like so many small communities, a school gymnasium was one of the few locations that large meetings, special events, and graduations could be held.
