Genk, Belgium - One of the top professional football clubs in Belgium and a first-time COVERMASTER® customer is singing the praises of several of the company’s products.

The Koninklijke Racing Club Genk, more commonly known as KRC Genk, plays out of the Cegaka Arena in Genk, Belgium and has four championship titles to their name. Through a word-of-mouth recommendation, they approached COVERMASTER® in search of the best turf protection system available. Steven McIntosh, COVERMASTER® International Development Manager, and European Representative Paul Anderson pointed the club to three products: RAINCOVER MAX™ field tarps, EVERGREEN® RADIANT turf covers, and TARPMATE AIR™ Rollers.

The outdoor stadium needed quality turf covers and EVERGREEN® RADIANT was the perfect choice. Its specialized silver coating radiates additional heat back into the soil, creating a greenhouse effect that’s vital in locations with fluctuating temperatures. Winter turf covers are effective in all types of climates, guarding against harmful environmental conditions and producing quicker spring greenups by two to three weeks.

Five sections of the turf growth covers were delivered to the multi-purpose arena, along with five sections of RAINCOVER MAX™ field tarps and 10 TARPMATE AIR™ Rollers for a complete system guaranteed to keep the natural turf in top playing condition.
