THE BENGALS PROTECT THE JUNGLE WITH RAINCOVER ULTRA™

Cincinnati, OH - Ohio’s Cincinnati Bengals football team competes in the National Football League’s (NFL) in the North division of the American Football Conference (AFC). They were the AFC champion most recently in 2021 and today, continue to build towards another championship. Upgrades to Bengal fan experience at Paycor Stadium were added recently and for the game itself, a new artificial turf playing field. To provide the ultimate in athletic field protection for the new FieldTurf field, they immediately turned to COVERMASTER®.

A FieldTurf playing surface is designed to more accurately resemble and respond like natural turf. When it rains, it needs an athletic field cover like any other turf field, to keep it dry and ready to be played on. With decades of experience with COVERMASTER® products, four custom-made sections of RAINCOVER ULTRA™ field covers were ordered. Measuring 96 feet by 190 feet per section, each section is easily and quickly locked together with industrial strength, Velcro closures.

RAINCOVER ULTRA™ field tarps are over 200 pounds lighter than other football field tarps and are designed to have less friction when installed and removed from the football playing field. They can also handle hundreds of pounds of water on its surface. Simply put, RAINCOVER ULTRA™ is the strongest field cover of its kind in the industry, which is absolutely critical when removing rainwater from its surface.
