Chicago, IL - Social distancing is making its way to the football field this season with new NFL-sanctioned protocols set out for players and team members standing on the sidelines.

At Soldier Field in Chicago, their updated football sideline covers are a little longer and deeper than the earlier version, allowing for extra space between each person. The Chicago Bears started the season on the road against the LA Rams in early September and returned to their home field for Week 2, giving the stadium crew time to set up the new sideline covers.

NFL teams that play on natural turf will be conforming to the new COVID-19 protocols with the help of reconfigured football sideline tarps sporting new markings and cutouts. Made from an exclusive VIPOL Matrix material, the non-absorbent and durable sideline protectors will stop cleats from penetrating the surface while keeping the turf healthier by allowing air and sunlight to penetrate the durable material.

Easy to clean and store, BENCH ZONE™ football field sideline tarps can be customized with digital printing in single or multiple colors.
