Lommel, Belgium - An increasing number of sports organizations across Europe are choosing to go orange when it comes to turf covers.

Lommel SK, a First Division B football club in Belgium, is the latest sports organization opting to invest in the vibrantly hued winter turf blanket. More than 13,000 square meters of EVERGREEN® Spectrum turf blankets were delivered to the Lommel stadium earlier this year, along with 10 TARPMATE AIR® Rollers. The turf cover sections will be divided between the team’s stadium pitch and training grounds, protecting both surfaces from harsh weather conditions and encouraging earlier spring green-ups by two to three weeks.
