Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium Gets EVERGREEN® SPECTRUM for FIFA WORLD CUP™

Foxborough, MA - New England Patriots grounds crew uses world class turf growth covers from COVERMASTER®

The FIFA World Cup™ 2026 features three countries and 16 cities including metropolitan Boston where five Group Stage matches, a Round of 32, and one Quarterfinal match will be played. To get ready for this world class event, all new, natural grass turf was required at Gillette Stadium to meet FIFA’s high-quality standards. This includes specific grass types for varying climates and conditions at each of its tournament venues.

As a longtime customer of COVERMASTER®, the New England Patriots of the AFC (American Football Conference of the NFL (National Football League) knew there was only one sure way of enhancing new turf growth especially during the cold winter months of Massachusetts. This creates a greenhouse effect which encourages faster turf growth and green ups. Three TARPMATE AIR™ Roller were also ordered for quick and easy removal.
