Rapid City, SD - If there’s a major event planned in South Dakota, you can bet that it will be happening at The Monument. In fact, the multi-purpose facility — formerly known as Rushmore Plaza Civic Center — has been known to draw crowds from North Dakota, Nebraska, and Wyoming.

In 2019, work began on the Rapid City venue’s expansive addition. The nearly 250,000-square-foot Summit Arena will feature a floor that can scale in size, making it the new place to go for sporting events, concerts, tournaments, and exhibitions.
