COVERMASTER® WALL PADDING PROTECTS PLAYERS AT RIVERBEND PARK

Dalton, GA - In January of 2023, Riverbend Park in Whitfield County, Georgia, was presented with a national award from the Independent Sports Association (ISA), one of the four major governing bodies of amateur softball in America, as its “2022 ISA Complex of the Year”. The award was given for providing above and beyond assistance with ISA’s 2022 Men’ World Softball Championship. This is one of many accolades for the park which officially opened in April 2022.

Located in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Georgia and part of the Dalton Metropolitan Area, Riverbend Park features four baseball/softball fields, five turf football fields, and five turf soccer fields (one of which is FIFA-size) in its outdoor sports facilities. When the Whitfield County Recreation Department put out bids to provide wall padding for its softball/baseball facilities, COVERMASTER® won the bid.
