Bowling Green High Schools Run with Track Protection Mats
Bowling Green, KY - Track covers from COVERMASTER® stop football cleats from damaging running tracks.
Warren County Public Schools is a school district located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. A total of well over 18 thousand students are taught in their elementary, middle, and high schools. In 2026, sports facility upgrades focus on energy efficiency and comfort. In addition to renovations to 28 buildings that include advanced HVAC systems and other interior improvements, athletic fields and tracks are also being upgraded.
COVERMASTER® was contacted for SIDELINE TRACK COVERS to protect re-surfaced and new tracks that fit around the football fields at their four high schools. Warren County Public Schools wanted a way to prevent damage from football cleats, team benches, and other related items. For each high school, they ordered four 15 by 75-foot TRACK PROTECTORS with gold colored edging for maximum visibility.
Each SIDELINE TRACK COVER is made from the most rugged polypropylene geo-textile fabric available. It has a double-stitched vinyl edging with steel chain inserted all around to hold it down during high winds without the use of stakes or staples. The size they ordered from COVERMASTER® reduced the handling weight making them easier to install and remove. Now, these track protectors will keep their running tracks in top running shape.
