BIG 12 EQUESTRIAN CHAMPIONSHIP GETS BIG TIME ARENA COVER PROTECTION
Burleson, TX - COVERMASTER® Equestrian Riding Arena Covers ready for rain at TCU Bear Creek facility.
This past March, Texas Christian University (TCU) hosted the 2025 Big 12 Equestrian Championship at Bear Creek Farms, their equestrian center in Burleson, Texas just 20 miles south of the TCU campus in Fort Worth. The facility features a covered riding arena and an outdoor Western arena complete with spectator seating and covered stalls for their horses. While March is not the rainiest month in Texas, what if it rained during the Big 12?
Known for its horse arena covers at equestrian facilities throughout the United States, COVERMASTER® was contacted in February for a solution for the possibility of rain on TCU’s outdoor arena. They needed something that could be put in place quickly prior to a rain event and later, easily removed so competition could continue. It was essential that the outdoor arena surface was maintained in the same, top riding condition that it was prior to the rain.
COVERMASTER® recommended its RAINCOVER ULTRA™, the industry’s strongest core raincover that’s over 200 pounds lighter than other available covers. TCU had a tight timeline to make sure they had it for the Big 12. In just over two weeks, COVERMASTER® delivered two, 125 by 300-foot sections of RAINCOVER ULTRA™ complete with handles every 10 feet along with two 95-foot TARPMATE AIR™ Rollers for quick and easy installation, removal, and storage. TCU now had a big time solution for the Big 12 Equestrian Championships.
