Artificial Turf - While artificial turf has a terrific number of advantages over natural turf it is even more important to stop harmful liquids and debris from passing through onto the surface, because artificial grass cannot re-grow nor can small areas be replaced. It is therefore essential to have an effective cover that is completely interlocking and overlapping thus reducing the problem to an absolute minimum.
 
Terracover-V Uses - The diversity of non-sporting events that can now be held on artificial turf fields, thanks to Terracover-V, is huge and includes trade shows, boat shows, home and garden events, fundraising and charity functions, weddings and black-tie affairs, religious conventions, holiday parties and, not least, concerts!

Easy Handling - Terracover-V is designed for stadiums and arenas fitted out with artificial turf, who wish to be truly multi-functional - football or baseball on one day, a concert, trade show or exhibition the next.  Terracover-V is light, easy to handle and quick to fit without any specialized equipment.
 
Stronger and Faster - Terracover-V is a unique, patented design which offers the very best in compressive strength.  Terracover-V is supplied in solid panels, 1m (39.37") x 1m (39.37") x 30mm (1.2") and each square meter panel locks to its adjacent panel by means of 8 x camlocks, which take fractions of a second to lock and unlock. All panels overlap to provide one continuous flat floor, leaving no gaps between the tiles to let through dirt, litter or liquids. Being solid (i.e. not in "rolls") and interlocking means that the system is tremendously strong, so it can easily withstand the weight of a fully loaded fork-lift (with pneumatic tires) carrying chair pallets, thus ensuring the fastest set-up and breakdowns.
 
Safety - Safety is of paramount importance when large crowds are involved and Terracover-V is the safest of all artificial turf covers. The solid, totally interlocked floor ensures that there are no tripping hazards, as associated with other systems, and the top surface has an integral non-slip pattern in the form of raised chevrons.
 
Clean Up - Terracover-V is very quick and easy to clean using a cleaning machine and can be stored either indoors or outdoors.

Dimensions - 1m (39.37") x 1m (39.37") x 30mm (1.2") pinned together in blocks of four at the factory and shipped on pallets.


Weight - 10kgs (23 lbs).
Material - High molecular weight, high density, polyethylene.


Method of Manufacture - Twin sheet thermoforming, using two 5 mm HDPE sheets.


Temperature Range - minus 20°C (-4°F) to 40°C (104° F).


Loading - Point load 20mm or ¾" square = 440lbs
               Spread load 15cm or 6" square = 15,400lbs.


Fire Requirements - Conforms to all current worldwide standards.


Storage - Stacked 2 pallets high = 2,580 sq ft in a foot print of 43 sq ft
                Stacked 3 pallets high = 3,870 sq ft in a foot print of 43 sq ft


Installation Times - 10,000 sq ft can be installed in 1 hour by 18 men.

Colors - Standard grey.

Cleaning - High pressure cold water spray washer.


Life Expectancy - Minimum of 10 years.


Applications - Flooring to cover synthetic turf for all types of special events.

Accessories - Walk ramps, drivable ramps, trolleys, stabilizers. All may be ordered separately.


Warranty - Five years on the panel  (excluding camlocks). Warranty has specific instructions for driving heavy vehicles on the Terracover -V.
