Covermaster’s World Series Run Continues St. Louis, MO, USA – The St. Louis Cardinals have won the 2011 Major League Baseball World Series Friday night claiming their 11th Franchise Championship. This is the second most titles of any team in professional baseball and was a huge upset for the returning American League Champions, the Texas Rangers.
This playoff was electric throughout the month of October. Both teams were in top form showing their prowess and winning qualities all the way through to the final game of the best-of-seven series, where the Cardinals came out on top. This back and forth action will not be easily forgotten and has been true to the Fall Classic tradition of top quality baseball.
