Aurora, CO - The baseball field at Smoky Hill High School in Aurora, Colorado underwent a makeover of sorts this spring when the school’s booster club decided to invest in new baseball windscreen for the team’s outfield fencing.
Last year, the club purchased red Tuffy Windscreen for the home side dugout. The booster club liked how it enhanced the ball field and decided to add on to upgrade the entire field. This year, the visitors’ dugout and outfield is sporting new green windscreen. The Smoky Hill Buffaloes team logos and lettering, not only dress up the field, but leave no question that fans are supporting the “Home of the Buffs”.
Multiple sections of standard vinyl-coated polyester windscreen, measuring approximately 60-80 feet each, stretch around the outfield, blocking wind and noise for better player focus and privacy. The advanced digital process allowed white lettering to be printed directly on to the dark green custom baseball field windscreens, creating a more polished look from both sides.
Covermaster’s windscreen for baseball fields is made from high-tensile strength fabric, resists UV damage, and can be ordered in custom or standard sizes. A range of color options provide for branding opportunities when logos, custom graphics, and messages are added to the panels.
